Program Support Engineer

Location: Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-Time

Total Technology has a full-time position available, in Picatinny Arsenal, for a Program Support Engineer with 4+ years of experience. This person will support government programs by providing program support for multiple Army fuze programs in Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase and production in addition to support activities, including the entire spectrum of design and system engineering functions from concept to production and fielding.

duties

  • Provide program and engineering support for integration of advanced proximity sensor technology into Army Fuze systems

  • Perform conceptual modeling of components, subassemblies and system integration, as well as the detail design and drafting of drawings to complete a TDP

  • Interpret and generate drawings, specifications, and requirements

  • Provide support to the procurement process and generating key documents required in the award of future Production contracts.

  • Participate in Integrated Product Team meetings.

  • Perform advanced to expert troubleshooting and repair techniques on manufacturing equipment, electrical, electronic or mechanical systems.

  • Perform structural integrity analysis utilizing state-of-the-art software simulation and classical hand calculations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Secret security clearance required

  • Four years of experience troubleshooting in the specific discipline

  • Knowledge of test engineering planning, scheduling and management of product, and component test activities

  • Proficiency with performing drawing reviews, configuration management activities, technical data package maintenance, contractor delivery reviews, and support to manufacturing test station upgrades

  • Knowledge of Army fuze systems and acquisition

  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team

  • Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
