Total Technology has a full-time position available for a Program Manager to support the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC). The position is fully remote eligible. This person will work as part of a remote team supporting the facilitation, promotion and education of technology transfer.
This is a brand new position established to manage the Technology Focus Area (TFA) for the FLC. The TFA is a focus on a specific technology area that addresses a public need and supports both federal laboratories’ research and technology transfer (T2) missions as well as government-wide, economy growth goals. The Program Manager will be tasked with developing a curriculum and budget for how to promote the TFA. The Program Manager will identify and develop relationships with industry bridger organizations within the technology area to promote the facilities, equipment, technology and expertise available across the federal government laboratory system to industry.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Advanced degree a plus.
Please note that US Citizenship is required.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship skills required.
Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
Self-starter is a MUST – capable of digging in with little direction/oversight
Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team.
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, MS Office expertise required
Travel up to 50% of time, estimated at 25%
